ONE plus TWO is 6 |

Here starts the Challenge:
Think of the first 3 numbers, {1, 2, 3}. Now convert them to words, {one, two, three}. Convert them to the amount of letters in the words, {3, 3, 5}. Sum them, 11. If you write out the first 3 numbers in words, there are 11 letters.
If the entire set of numbers ranging from 1 to 2008 (inclusive) were written in words, what would be the amount of letters? (only letters, example: 123 = onehundredandtwentythree = 24 letters)
