Background changes depending on what I'm doing (I find windows-m easier than looking at a sheet in that example) - Magic eye if I don't need it for anything.
'New Folder' is where I chuck everything that's been on my desktop and I feel takes too mcuh space (it's 1.01gig), so the files on my desktop are really just stuff I'm using at the moment (you can see 3D Studio Max, tutorial, hearts, etc.)

Now thats a pretty boring Desktop Nab  :P
