Hi,
I've got several questions for this challenge: 1st part: Which value has to be taken for the sun mass ? I tried with the official value given by the nasa but it didn't work. There is also an exponent in the value, how to handle them in the answer ? Extended HTML code ? notation using ^ ? .... 2nd part: Is the result expected using scientific notation x.xxx 10^yy ? Thanks for hint. |

Same questions...
I tried several values with several notations but couldn't get any match when entering solution.. Scientific notation? ie, do we have to use "^" or "e" or "E" or nothing?? Dot or comma? About second part: punctuation marks (like commas) needed or not? Thank you if you can help me to get rid of that little syntax problem ^^ |

Ok, mission complete...
... So I can give you the answers to the previous questions in this thread: - I didn't use any comma but dot(s) - no need to use letter as "E", I used the "^" char instead - no need of punctuation marks for the second part as it doesn't required scientific notation - another hint : at first I failed because of use of an approximative value of a famous irrational number, instead of its real value... so don't use approx. values ! I hope that helps... |
